Who I Work With
My clients are the people who own the outcome — regardless of title. A founder who built the business and still calls the shots. A second-generation owner who inherited it. A CEO brought in to take it somewhere new. Sometimes all three are in the room. What they have in common is decision-making authority and a genuine desire to change something.
Who This Is Not For
I want to be straightforward about fit. The businesses I work best with are ones where operations is the product — where value is created and delivered through people, process, and execution. If your main challenge is inventing the product rather than delivering it, I'm probably not the right person.
CEO Advisor
This is a continuous relationship with the person at the top — present, direct, and focused on what's actually blocking progress. Not a board member, not a coach, not a project resource. A senior operator who knows how businesses like yours work, has seen the failure modes before, and will tell you what they see without softening it. Typically structured as one to two days a week with no fixed end date.
Fractional and/or Interim Executive
When the business needs an operator in a role rather than an advisor beside one, the work takes one of two forms. Fractional means ongoing and part-time — consistent senior presence in the organization without a full-time commitment. There's no predefined end state; it continues as long as it's creating value. Interim means full-time and temporary — brought in to run something, fix something, or bridge a leadership gap, with the explicit goal of handing it off to the right permanent leader at the right time.
Special Project Leader
Some work has a clear scope and a finish line. A pricing model that needs rebuilding. An operating structure that isn't working. A new initiative that needs someone to own it from start to finish. This is project-based work — defined deliverables, defined timeline, defined endpoint. When it's done, the organization owns the result and knows how to run it.
